Evies’ Treatment

It’s been so long since I’ve posted anything as I’ve been mega busy and always forget to get my phone out to take interesting photos and videos for you. However, this week someone else remembered for me! Unfortunately we didn’t capture the best bit as the gorgeous Evie was swaying with her nose on the floor as if we’d sedated her ?☺️ because as soon as the camera came out it woke her up a bit, but I’m sure you can still see how wonderfully relaxed she is as we finished up her session.
Bless Evie…. She’s been plagued by injury’s over the last few years including issues with her hocks and sacroiliac joint, but most recently she sustained a torn hamstring on the left side which left her on box rest for 6 weeks ☹️ so she was very much in need of a treatment. She has always had regular physio but never chiropractic, and Evie’s owner was a little unsure how she would react…..as you can see she needn’t have worried!!
What I loved about this treatment the most, was not only seeing how much Evie enjoyed it but also how surprised and happy her owner was about this fact. Her concern came from the assumption that my treatment would involve a fair amount of force and ‘bone crunching’ and it was lovely to dispel this myth and educate that McTimoney chiropractic techniques are incredibly gentle and very well received by the majority of our animals, gently restoring their skeletal function and postural symmetry to give them optimum function and comfort.
I will be following up with Evie in a couple of weeks time to see how she has responded ??
